This backpack is proof that the internet is a strange and wonderful place. Did we need this for travel? No. Did we want this for entertainment? Absolutely. It fits one cat comfortably, two cats if they so choose, or a tortoise with plenty of room to spare. It seems sturdy and has convenient additions like a harness clip inside and a feeding/petting/biting port (mood dependent). One of our cats loves it, the other wants nothing to do with it, because cats are weird. The tortoise hasn't shared her opinion yet, but she's reserved like that. Overall, I highly recommend this catpack.

Really good quality, sturdy enough to survive the cat scratches and all. I like this model because it has an almost all around view for the cat. The holes and mesh are big enough. My kitten was supercurious and loved just sitting in there. When I took her for a drive it was the usual struggle of a cat in a carrier but I think she calmed down quicker and it's nicer for her to see more.

Our cat has a love hate relationship with this backpack. When we take her in the car with us she tends to do better when she’s in the backpack. She doesn’t like getting in and won’t get in on her own but when she is inside the backpack and we take her outside she’ll wine for a little bit and then get over it and actually love that she can see all of outside safely in her little bubble pack. She’ll eat treats and snack when inside so we know she isn’t scared. She won’t eat treats or anything if she’s scared. So it’s hot and miss. It works much better than the traditional cat carrier when we need to take her places and sometimes works better for walks. I know this might be a lot of info but I know if you’re a cat lover like me you want to know if this is worth it for your cat or just another pipe dream. I think depending on your cats anxiety levels this would be great. She hates and loves it but overall net positive.

Really great backpack, good ventilation, case ultra clear, straps very comfortable and has horizontal support strap at the front also. The bottom comes with a wide pad for kitty to stand on and during the walk, our cat could lay down comfortably too with the good amount of space at the base. My daughter is 10 and straps were very adjustable to suit her along side adult adjustments. Highly recommend, fast shipping, good quality and very happy our cat can join in in adventures!

Cats do what they want, you don't own a cat - they own you! So when I showed my hubs our new cat pack, we both rolled with laughter. I really didn't think she would like it but about half way around the block, our furhighness chilled out and enjoyed the ride. We're going to keep testing it out and see how much use we can get out of it.

Had a small issue and had to return the first one I received (it was cracked and had dog hair in it, so it must have been a return.) Aside from that, this backpack is great. My Shih Tzu (~8.8lbs) doesn't mind it, but my Chihuahua (~5lbs) is terrified of it. It can be hard getting them in it but once they're in it's very stable and while it at first doesn't seem like it provides much support, it really does. It's very comfortable on my back and feels like a normal backpack. Getting it on and off can be tricky though. Overall it's a great product that I would purchase again. I think there are multiple models because the first one had a different (smaller and fine carpet) pad than the replacement and it had a hook on the top and not the bottom inside, but if the first one didn't have a crack it would have been equally as nice as the replacement. If small things like that could affect your use case, maybe reach out to the seller in advance to see if you can arrange shipment of a specific model. The price is amazing for what this is, and it's a great buy for anyone that wants to take their small pets with them hiking but doesn't want to risk the dangers of them being on the ground.

I hardly ever post reviews, but this one was necessary. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today!! (no prime membership either!) I have two cats and a rabbit, each one of them tried it out and can fit with room to spare. I’m so excited to take my pets on walks with me!

YOU NEED TO WIPE THE INSIDE AFTER USING! My 11lbs Pom fits perfectly. I throw in a small blanket for extra support. The inside gets warm and the plastic shell gets water spots from his breathing. Make sure to wipe it so it doesn’t get nasty inside the backpack. Overall I wish it had an extra pocket for treats and leash etc. for $35 it’s way better then being the dog stroller lady. Everytime I walk by anyone it always makes people smile and squeal! Def comfortable straps which I am happy. Overall this will fit small dogs like poms ,chihuahuas, pugs , toy breeds Etc.

This is truly a beautiful fur baby carrier. My husband calls it his dad bag because he is to manly for strollers. The stitching is remarkable. It is very roomy for one or two ferrets. We were hesitant because of the negative reviews but we got it anyway and I am happy we did. We bought it for our 2 year old boy ferret Savitar (love Sherrilyn Kenyon) who has spinal cancer and he does love to come on trips with us this. Is perfect for him Winnie of course had to make sure it was safe. Winnie is the first ferret pictured and Savitar is the second with the grey pillow case.

I was SO excited when I saw this cat backpack. I already have a car stroller and thought this would be a great alternative to a cat carrier (which my cats hate). This is well made and easy to use. I thought the openness and windows would be a better alternative than the traditional carrier I use to take my cats to the vet. Unfortunately, my cat does not like this any more than the other carrier. I will work with him on getting used to it prior to going to the vet. The construction itself is well made and I love the product, but my cat doesn't. Also, pay attention to the size limit. It says 10lbs, I would say it could easily fit and carry a 15lbs cat, but my fat old 22lbs cat would never fit in this. There isn't room to lay down, however they can sit up, which they can't do in a traditional carrier. There is a clip inside to attach a harness for safety.
